“Going to see Karla out of anyone else that mentors boudoir photographers was a choice that I sat and researched on and spent time ensuring was the right choice, as I wanted to make an investment into the startup of my business. 

It truly did not even take me a long time to see “her” through her videos, funny relatable reels, and feel like I got to know her before I even met her in person. I felt comfortable going to a home alone for 2 days in a home 6 states away from home. 

The second I met her I felt starstruck but instantly connected, warm, trusting, and safe. The way she taught me was understandable (even when I had way too many questions!) and she did not seem bothered by me or come off as “my way or the highway” she helped to figure out what would work best for my business through her trial and errors throughout the years and I felt I could truly trust fall into her arms (probably literally as well!) of the right thing to do.

Renea chose my 2-day mentoring option which means on day 1 we talked all things business and day 2 was the live shoot with the model. For Renae she is starting her business from scratch so she needed to know how to be legal, create a pricing list for products she wants to offer, how to manage social media and how to create an amazing boudoir experience for her clients. Day 2 we got to photograph the gorgeous model Brittney together! We went over camera settings, posing for all body types and how to create beautiful images using natural light by keeping things SIMPLE. We also edited the images together to get a final look that represents HER artwork.
