1. What made you choose Karla Mason Boudoir?

The quality of her work speaks for itself! Every single person she photographs looks amazing and they always look like they are having fun. I’ve had kids and have had moments where I didn’t feel comfortable in my body. Our 5 year wedding anniversary was coming up and I wanted to feel great and have some awesome couple’s photos too, and Karla was just the person to help capture that.

2. What were you nervous about going into your session? 

I am self conscious of how my face looks in photographs… I feel like I always make dumb faces! And my husband is worse than I am! He hates his picture getting taken so I was afraid that we would look stupid. Thankfully Karla is amazing to work with and we had plenty of awesome pictures that we loved!!!

3. What was your favorite part of the experience?

Her: Getting to be intimate with my husband and having those moments captured on camera.

Him: Easy bathroom access because I had to pee 30 times. (JK, don’t put that in there)

I got to keep grabbing her butt, you know… for the perfect shot.

4. How do you feel now that you completed your session?

Like I want to do more!! After trying all these outfits and different poses it just sparked more ideas! Karla was so much fun to work with, and it was surprisingly one of the most comfortable experiences ever!

5. Would you recommend Karla Mason Boudoir to others?

Fuck yeah!
