1. What made you choose Karla Mason Boudoir?

I had been researching boudoir photos for a few weeks, and was frustrated with what I felt was unclear pricing with another photographer.   I mentioned this to a friend, who let me know that a friend of hers had just used Karla, and she showed me her pictures.  I loved the photos, and checked out the website, booking a session immediately.   Her pictures are gorgeous, and she lays out the process and pricing in perfect detail, and I knew there would not be unpleasant surprises.

2. What were you nervous about going into your session?

I was very nervous to be nearly naked with a stranger!   But Karla explained everything in advance and was happy to answer questions.   The hair and makeup team hyped me up, and Karla made everything relaxed and fun.   I was immediately put at ease and my nerves vanished.  One of the first things she said to me when I was about to change is ‘while it will be weird to you to have your ass in my face, for me, that’s just a normal Tuesday.’   It was great perspective and I was able to get over my nerves.

3. What was your favorite part of the experience?

Having a 1/2 day focused entirely on me!   I spend so much time focused on others, it was lovely having a team of people focused on making me look gorgeous, hyping me up, and making me feel so good.

4. How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

Great!  It was so much fun!   I love my photos.   

5. Would you recommend Karla Mason Boudoir to others?

I already have and will continue to do so!  Karla is SO amazing at what she does.   Her transparency and professionalism are apparent immediately, and she has an incredible eye for posing and detail.   I was comfortable from start to finish and absolutely love the pictures she took!
