1. What made you choose Karla Mason Boudoir? I fell in love with the artistry of Karla Mason Boudoir photography. I am a photography nerd at heart and compared to other boudoir photographers I had been following and even ones closer to my location, they did not compare when it came to the composition of the photographs. Every woman that I saw in the photographs that were posted on social media by Karla looked exceptionally beautiful but were still embracing THEIR true beauty, the focus was on them and to me that was what won me over.

2. What were you nervous about going into your session? For me, I don’t take a lot of selfies and as a mom of three young boys sometimes I am rarely in the photos I take, so being in front of the camera and the center of the attention does not come naturally to me. I can be critical when it comes to how I look, so it definitely took getting out of my comfort zone to be photographed in lingerie but it was something I had been thinking about for years and I didn’t want my fears to hold me back.

3. What was your favorite part of the experience? My favorite part of the experience was reviewing the finalized photographs and choosing my favorites because I was honestly so blown away at how many  of them I totally loved! I thought that I would maybe want to keep 10 but it was difficult to choose ones that I DID NOT want to keep. I was so impressed with the quality of each photograph and so grateful at all the direction that Karla provided during each shot to make each photograph perfect. 

4. How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session? I feel proud that I completed the session and extremely satisfied. I did the session as a gift to my husband for his 40th birthday but it turned out to be more of a gift to myself, to celebrate my body and my sexiness. 

5. Would you recommend Karla Mason Boudoir to others? YES! I have already recommended Karla to many friends and shared my photographs with friends. Like me, some friends are hesitant to book a boudoir session because they don’t think their body is in the right place for a boudoir session or they are too shy for a shoot but the best thing about working with Karla is that she helps everybody feel comfortable and embrace their sexiness.
