1. What made you choose Karla Mason Boudoir?

I chose Karla because I had been following her for a while and I knew people who had shot with her before! I had heard nothing but amazing things. I also loved how personable she was online and on the phone when I did my consultation! Also, her work speaks for itself, it is always beautiful and timeless! I had looked at a couple other boudoir photographers’ work and no one else’s photos compared to Karla’s!
2. What were you nervous about going into your session?

YES! It was a completely new experience for me, and being pregnant made things even more challenging. My body had changed so much over the course of my pregnancy, so I felt extra nervous. As soon as I got to Karla’s house, met her and Jeet, (and of course Karla’s dog, I love him) all my nerves went away! It was like being at a friends house!

3. What was your favorite part of the experience?

My favorite part of the experience was probably how beautiful and empowered it made me feel, even before I actually saw my photos. Karla hyped me up the whole shoot and was SO sweet and professional and Jeet did such a perfect job on my makeup. Being 7 months pregnant, I was just feeling huge and not like myself, so my shoot was at a time when I needed it the most. It reminded me that I’m still me and my body is still mine, even while pregnant!
4. How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

I’m soooo happy that I did my session! My photos are beautiful and I’ll always remember this experience. I honestly talk about it all the time because I’m obsessed. These are photos that I will look back on and cherish for the rest of my life.

5. Would you recommend Karla Mason Boudoir to others?

YES. I literally recommend Karla to everyone I know…. All the time. There’s no reason to not book a shoot with her. She makes EVERYONE look and feel beautiful (bc they are!). Karla is even offers payment plans that can work for everyone. She literally takes care of everything from makeup to outfits, so it’s nothing but a relaxing and empowering day from start to finish. I would even be willing to book another shoot with Karla at some point in the future!
