1. What made you choose Karla Mason Boudoir? I had been following Karla on social media for quite a while before my first session, and I was immediately drawn to her. I absolutely adore her personality — she’s so friendly, warm, and genuinely easy to connect with. On top of that, I fell in love with her photography style. Everything about her work felt empowering, artistic, and authentic, and it made choosing her feel like a no-brainer. By the time I booked, it already felt like I knew her.
2. What were you nervous about going into your session? I think my biggest nerves came from not feeling totally comfortable in my body at the moment. After being in a really bad car accident, I had been out of the gym for a long time, and that definitely impacted my confidence. I worried about how I would look and whether I’d feel like myself again in front of the camera.
3. What was your favorite part of the experience? Hands down — Karla herself. She is so fun and makes you feel instantly at ease. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you’re hanging out with someone you’ve known forever. She creates such a warm, inviting environment that you genuinely feel like one of her best friends. That energy makes the entire experience relaxed, joyful, and empowering.
4. How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session? I still feel amazing. I love looking through my images, and I’m so glad I decided to get all of the digitals. I honestly look through them at least once a day, and my favorite photo is constantly changing because there are so many that I love for different reasons. Having access to all of them has been incredibly important for my confidence and healing journey.
5. Would you recommend Karla Mason Boudoir to others? Absolutely — without hesitation. This was my second session with Karla, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. She has an incredible way of making you feel seen, comfortable, and beautiful no matter where you’re at in life. If you’re even thinking about booking a session, do it. You won’t regret it.
