- What made you choose Karla Mason Boudoir?
I chose Karla Mason because she has an incredible gift for making women feel both beautiful and empowered. A close friend recommended her after sharing her own photos, and I instantly loved the outcome. When I looked deeper into her work, I saw that Karla is not only talented but also kind, respectful, patient, and uplifting. What stood out to me most is her ability to capture you exactly as you are—imperfections and all—in a way that makes you fall in love with yourself even more. That authenticity and empowering energy is what truly drew me to her. - What were you nervous about going into your session?
The only thing I was nervous about was the makeup. I don’t usually wear any, and I wanted to make sure the makeup artist still captured my true self. But they guided me so well, and gave me a light, natural look that brought out my features in the most flattering way without making me feel “unlike me.” Other than that, I honestly wasn’t very nervous about posing nude or being in front of the camera. After speaking with Karla beforehand and learning how she handles her sessions, I knew I was in good hands and could trust the process completely. - What was your favorite part of the experience?
My favorite part was definitely the entire atmosphere—posing, the music, the setup, and the overall energy of the space. I also loved trying on different outfits to see which ones captured my personality, highlighted my body, and complimented my skin tone. But what stood out the most was Karla herself. She guided me every step of the way and made me feel empowered in such a genuine and respectful way. She encourages you to embrace yourself fully—every curve, every angle—and to see your beauty exactly as it is. That’s something I’ll never forget. - How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?
I feel amazing! Honestly, I can’t stop looking at my photos because they remind me of how beautiful I truly am. For someone who wasn’t always positive about my body, this session completely shifted my perspective. Now, I look at myself with admiration and confidence. I’m already thinking about doing another session, either on my own again or with my husband—it doesn’t matter, because the experience is so uplifting and worth repeating. - Would you recommend Karla Mason Boudoir to others?
Without a doubt, 100% yes! I would recommend Karla to anyone who wants to see themselves in a new, empowering light.
