1. What made you choose Karla Mason Boudoir?
Honestly word of mouth. Karla was recommended by Jeet and Savannah at thistle not just because of her AMAZING work but also because of her personality. Knowing myself I knew I needed a hype man, a friend and a professional all in one – Karla delivered!!
2. What were you nervous about going into your session?
I didn’t have the body I wanted. I knew I’d be okay with angles and lighting but I wanted to feel good in my own skin before making an investment. Too much sourdough baking and husbands sudden deployment left me a stressed mess who ate to cope with keeping tiny humans alive so I wasn’t excited when my date neared.
3. What was your favorite part of the experience?
My favorite part of it all was the confidence and empowerment it brought within me. I already read how “this should be about you” and all the stuff you see about women on the blogs but truly until you’re behind the cameras and seeing the photos you don’t realize how truly empowering and special a shoot like this is – I’m a believer now!
4. How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?
Like a bad b*tch!! But really I feel soo good. I still have weight to lose but these photos truly made me feel like a diamond in the rough. With a little make up – watch out world under these mom jeans is a wholeeeee snack.
5. Would you recommend Karla Mason Boudoir to others?
Would, did and will continue to (I just may not tag you in the posts bc no immediate friends/parents need to see their kid’s teach Mrs Vargas naked) but I’m not opposed to the rest of the world 😉
