1. What made you choose Karla Mason Boudoir?

A boudoir photo album for my future husband is where it all started. I wasn’t sure where to start looking and the thought of picture taking is scary to me. I am always worried if I have a double chin, if my eyes are too squinty, and if my hair is okay. So I mentioned this idea to a friend of mine whom then stumbled upon Karla Mason’s Photography. After one look at Karla’s work I was hooked and knew she was the one!!

 

2. What were you nervous about going into your session?

I was extremely nervous …. I was sexually abused at a young age by a trusted male adult. This led to over a decade of promiscuity, self inflicted hate, constant insecurities and comparison to others. I was at a point in my life where I became reckless and unable to believe that I was deserving of anything good in life especially love.

It was not until I hit my lowest point in life and found myself through the love of Jesus Christ. From then it has been over a decade of healing and learning that I am worthy.

I can finally say I love me and appreciate everything that has happened to make me the person I am today.

With that being said, Sexy is hard for me. I typically get super goofy when it comes to anything relating to lingerie or being seductive.

So nervous? Heck yeah, I was super nervous.

 

3. What was your favorite part of the experience?

My favorite part, hands down, was Karla! Everything I read about her was absolutely true and more. From her warm and friendly personality to making me feel like a sexy goddess, this was an experience I will always remember and forever be grateful for.

 

4. How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session? 

Now that I’ve completed my session I feel just like when I just got my first tattoo at 18 and I wanted more! I turn 40 next year and feel like I’m 18 again.

Looking at myself through Karla’s eyes and lens made me feel like I can finally see myself the way my fiance says he sees me. But more importantly I have a different confidence about me. My energy is different, more positive, and it is because if this experience.

 

5. Would you recommend Karla Mason Boudoir to others?  

Would I?! I started recommending Karla Mason Boudoir the minute I left the shoot!

Karla is an angel, an absolute blessing that I was lucky enough to encounter.
